Each piece in our photo galleries is shown as it is displayed in our shop at Cambridge. For your convenience we have shown an approximate size for each carving displayed. The size shown is the longest dimension, usually the length.
VARIATIONS IN CARVINGS
All our carvings may have minor variations in size and finish due to each piece being individually being unique and hand-carved.
Paua inlay can have a variety of colours as occur naturally in the paua shell. We would appreciate you email us if you have a specific colour preference.
New Zealand Pounamu/Greenstone displays its natural beauty in a wide variety of colours. Each piece of jewellery is unique and each individual image of the jewellery is a indicative only, as sometimes the image does not reveal the true beauty of the piece.
CORDS
Each bone and greenstone carving is supplied with a high quality polyester waxed cord, which is resistant to wear and breakage. Some larger carvings are fitted with a 3-plait cord which has been handmade by our skilled staff at Cambridge. A number of smaller carvings are fitted with a braided cord, which is in proportion to the size of those carvings.
If you would prefer a different coloured cord to the one shown on a carving, we can change the cord at no charge to you, provided that it is not a carving which has the cord lashed to it. We also display carvings with extra special plaiting which greatly enhance the appearance of the bone art. You will find these under " Bone/Plaited Range"
JEWELLERY FITTINGS
In our .925 sterling silver range, all earring fittings are sterling silver. The necklace chains are 18 inches long, and likewise are sterling silver. In our gold plated range, all earring fittings are hypo allergenic. The necklace chains are 18 inches also, with a long lasting gold plate.
JEWELLERY BOXES
Each item priced at $40 or more is supplied with it's own jewellery box, which is a high quality leatherette box with silk pad. Our company name " Cambridge Shell and Jade" is printed on the silk liner of each box for all our greenstone and bone carvings. If you wish to purchase a jewellery box for items priced at under $40, these are available at the reduced price of $3.00 each.
MEANINGS
Each carving comes to you with a written meaning. You will find the meanings at the head of each section of the products range for Bone Carvings and for Jade Carvings.
RETURNS
CAMBRIDGE SHELL AND JADE is committed to providing quality products supplied to our customers. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product supplied by CAMBRIDGE SHELL AND JADE, please return it to us in original condition within 14 days of receipt and CAMBRIDGE SHELL AND JADE will refund your purchase price using the original payment method.

- Contact us by email to advise that you wish to return the product
- You can return within 14 days from dispatch of order
- The items must be in original condition, and include all contents and packaging

TRACKING/ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
Most orders received are shipped the following business day. However, when trying to figure out the expected arrival date for your order, be sure to add 1-2 business days for processing of the order to the estimated shipping times below.
SHIPPING TIMES
Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only. Most orders received by us before 12pm NZ Time are shipped the following business day. If you received our order confirmation email Monday – Friday, before 3.30pm NZ Time, your order will normally be shipped the following business day. Please note that a very small number of orders require extra processing time for various reasons.
If you have ordered an item that is out-of-stock or sold-out, we will attempt to contact you immediately. Please understand that a delay may also occur if your credit card was declined or for address verification if your billing address was entered incorrectly.
PLEASE NOTE: Rural and some residential areas may require an additional day(s) delivery time.
